The significance of the new birth

Lately I have come across an idea that is spinning in the minds of many. It is a reasoning that gives rise to a misunderstanding of God's omniscience. If you are not familiar with this term, it refers to the fact that God knows all things, from the beginning to the end. He knows everything, past, present and future; there is nothing secret before Him and nothing has ever taken Him by surprise. Things seen and things unseen, even things undiscovered by men, are all known to Him (1 John 3:20, Isaiah 41:4, Psalm 139:4).
People who have the wrong idea about this attribute of God (Christians and non-Christians alike) are making claims that contradict the character of God. For example, and to respond to two of the most popular ideas being spread on social media, many claim that because God knows everything, He must have made some atheists, others same-sex attracted, and so on. . But the fact that God knows all things does not mean that God is the originator of all things. Is God the author of sin (gossip, murder, rape, hate, theft, confusion, etc.)? The answer is no.
The scriptures tell us that sin entered the perfect world that God created when Adam rejected God's wisdom and accepted the serpent's lies; it was then when the nature of men was corrupted, that is why everyone is born with tendencies and desires contrary to the wisdom of God (Rom. 5:12). These new age teachings that accept that the way we are born is God's perfect will for our lives, and also believe that God loves everything about  us, are not the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let me remind you of His words in John 3:3 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again (or from on high), he cannot see the kingdom of God."
This is of great importance, because no matter what tendencies we have, no matter how long they have ruled our lives, no matter how depraved they are, the answer is the same: to be born again through faith in Christ, Who came to save us from death. fallen nature, and to deliver us from the power of sin (Col.1:13-14).
It is absolutely true that God loves us regardless of our condition, but it is also absolutely true that He wants us to allow him to change us. He wants to make us new (2 Cor. 5:17), and to leave behind everything that came with the old nature (Eph. 4:22-24). This is why the Lord asks us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice and be transformed, not allowing the world to fit us into its mold (Rom. 12:1-2).
But this cannot be achieved by following religion or by embracing the "moral" standards of the world. The first step to being transformed is to recognize God, that He is always right, that we are wrong, turn to Him and let Him transform us into the image of His Son.
